Why do my listings show 'pending activation' or 'submitted' after activating Listing Sync?

After you activate Listing Sync, your business data is automatically submitted to all supported directories and major platforms.

What the statuses mean:

  • Pending Activation / Submitted — These are normal, temporary statuses. They indicate that EZlocal has queued and sent your information to that specific publisher. The directory is now handling the update on its end.

How long until they go live?

  • Most major platforms usually update within a few hours to 72 hours.
  • Other directories vary widely depending on their delivery method:
    • Real-time API partners → often live in 1–3 days.
    • Batch-file or syndicated partners → can take a few days to several weeks.
    • Monthly-delivery publishers → status typically updates at the end of each month once the file is processed.

You can track every location and directory in real time from your EZlocal dashboard under Listings → Status. Most listings move to “Live” or “Synced” within 1–4 weeks for the full network.
