Why does Google warn that EZlocal can edit or delete my Google Business Profile?

This is Google’s standard OAuth consent screen that appears for any third-party app or agency using the official Google Business Profile API (including Dash, our secure dashboard). This permission is required by Google. It allows you to view, edit, create, and delete your Google Business listings directly through the EZlocal dashboard.

Here’s what it really means:

• You remain the full owner of your Google Business Profile with complete control at all times.
• EZlocal will only make updates that you request or approve, or minor optimizations that follow Google’s guidelines and best practices (such as business category alignment and address formatting).
• We will never make significant changes to your core business information without your explicit approval.
• You can revoke our access instantly at any time from your Google Account settings (Security → Third-party apps with account access).
