What special characters are allowed in my business name on EZlocal?

Your business name must exactly match how it appears on your real-world signage, website, and Google Business Profile.

Allowed (when part of your official name):

• Apostrophe (') — e.g. O’Connor’s
• Ampersand (&) — e.g. Smith & Sons
• Hyphen (-) — e.g. A-1 Plumbing
• Period (.) — e.g. U.S. Bank

Not allowed (will be rejected):

• Pipe symbol (|)
• Slashes (/ or \)
• Trademark symbols (®, ™, ©)
• Emojis or decorative symbols (*, !!!, @, #, etc.)
